Up to three awards of $1,500* will be selected by the Academic Staff Awards Committee. Please follow the numerical format listed below and address each criterion under separate headings. Individual letters should not exceed 3 pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The nominee should demonstrate continued excellence in teaching:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">Fostering student motivation and learning<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">Demonstration of classroom effectiveness<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">Innovation in delivery of content<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investment in curricular development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service to the University as it relates to campus\/community\/professional citizenship.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">Criteria<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p>Nominees should:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be members of the Academic Staff with a fixed term, probationary, or indefinite appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have completed a minimum of four years of service to 51ÁÔÆæ (excluding leave of absence) teaching two courses or more per semester in any combination of the appointments listed in #1 above by January 1, 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not have received an Academic Staff Award (excluding Professional Development Award) in the prior four years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neither nominees, nor members of their immediate family, may be serving a current term as a member of the Academic Staff Awards Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">Nomination Procedure<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p>Nominations may be submitted by 51ÁÔÆæ employees or currently enrolled 51ÁÔÆæ students.
