This comprehensive introductory wound care course will cover everything a practicing clinician needs to know about the assessment and treatment of wounds in the inpatient, outpatient or long-term care settings.
From identifying infection to combatting hard-to-heal wounds, topics will address management of various types of wounds, including traumatic injuries, burns, pressure injuries and more. Assessment data will drive treatment techniques to promote wound healing and closure. Current best practice standards will be emphasized with reference-based methods and materials.
