Section 1: Locomotion Systems
- Examine locomotion methods: tracks, mecanum wheels, walking (2, 4 and 6 legs) and flying (drones).
- Analyze the engineering and operation of different movement systems.
Section 2: Sensing and Gripping Technology
- Investigate sensing devices such as LIDAR, cameras, ultrasonic sensors and force detectors.
- Evaluate gripper mechanisms using motorized and pneumatic systems.
Section 3: Computing and Software Systems
- Explore Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano platforms.
- Get introduced to Python programming and the Robot Operating System (ROS).
Section 4: Navigation and Control Methods
- Apply AI methods used for mobile robot sensing, navigation and operation.
- Analyze navigation principles, including SLAM and fixed systems.
