“Inclusive Play Toolkit for OTs, PTs and Teachers” is an innovative course designed for occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators and other professionals dedicated to fostering inclusive environments. This course emphasizes the importance of play as a critical tool for development and engagement, focusing on adaptive strategies to meet the unique needs of children with diverse physical, cognitive and sensory abilities. Participants will learn to design inclusive play activities, implement evidence-based techniques to promote social and emotional engagement, and evaluate the effectiveness of playbased interventions in therapeutic and educational settings. This course highlights how inclusive play can support emotional regulation and build social connections, particularly for children impacted by trauma or neurodiverse conditions.
