Developmental Stages: Supervisee/Supervisor

DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED

The objective of this course is to explore Stoltenberg and Delworth’s Integrated Development Model and The Treatment Model approach. Participants will analyze the three stages of counselor development and apply the characteristics associated with each stage. Through examining three structures within eight competency domains, learners will evaluate counselor progress in relation to the 12 core functions. Additionally, this course will enable participants to design strategies to support the growth of supervisees as they transition from student to colleague to expert.

Clinical staff preparing for a leadership or supervisory role in AODA programs, Clinical Supervisor-In-Training, counselors or therapists seeking clinical supervision certification or licensure, current clinical supervisors in substance use disorder treatment settings, LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs or SACs who supervise or plan to supervise SUD professionals or interns, program managers, directors or team leads in behavioral health or AODA programs.
