The School of Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology serves the 51ÁÔÆæ campus and greater Milwaukee community with the following services, clinics and screenings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audiology Services – HEAR Wisconsin<\/a><\/div>
Hear Wisconsin provides students the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills working with clients and audiologists at a \u201cone-stop shop\u201d where community members can find all the products and services they need to live more successfully with hearing loss.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Physical Therapy Services – 51ÁÔÆæ AccessPT\u00a0<\/a><\/div>
51ÁÔÆæ AccessPT serves 51ÁÔÆæ and Milwaukee community members by providing physical therapy services at no cost to those individuals without insurance, lacking coverage, or having difficulty accessing physical therapy. Services are provided by Doctor of Physical Therapy students under the direct supervision of licensed physical therapists. <\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Speech and Language Clinic<\/a><\/div>
The Speech and Language Clinic serves the university and surrounding community by providing clinical services as part of the professional preparation of students in the Master’s of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The clinic provides evaluation and treatment services to children and adults who have a variety of communication disorders.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Sport Psychology & Performance Excellence Laboratory Services<\/a><\/div>
While the consultants in the laboratory work primarily with athletes and sports teams, they are also able to provide consulting services across a wide range of performance domains (e.g., music, business, firefighting).<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

Home Care Medical is a local company that partners with 51ÁÔÆæ and brings in different types of wheelchairs. Students learn about the features and benefits of each wheelchair and the best clients for each chair. They get hands on experience working with the equipment and with the vendor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
