At 51ΑΤΖζ, β€œPre-Physical Therapy”, β€œPre-Med” and similar graduate/professional school preparation designations are not majors. Students must declare one of the health majors to pair with their β€œpre” designation.

Students who wish to complete a School of Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology (RST) major as they pursue admission to graduate/professional school for further study in any of the following areas may receive advising for their undergraduate major and graduate/professional school preparation solely from their RST advisor:

• athletic training (traditional MS or accelerated BS/MS)
• communication sciences and disorders (speech-language pathology, audiology)
• occupational therapy
• physical therapy

51ΑΤΖζ offers many of these graduate programs, and in many cases, designated slots are set aside for our own students! Contact your advisor for details.

Students who wish to complete a School of Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology major while pursuing admission to a professional school for any of the following subjects receive joint advising from the School of Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology (for their undergraduate major) and the College of Letters & Science (for professional school preparation):

• dentistry
• general medicine
• optometry
• pharmacy
• physician assistant
• podiatry
• veterinary medicine
