We encourage you to register <strong>as early as possible<\/strong> to guarantee a spot in UW-Milwaukee FitWell Courses. Courses may be added through the first week of the session \u2013 late enrollment dates vary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-session-options\">Session Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Full semester<\/strong> courses are offered in  Fall and Spring. Semesters are 16 weeks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Half semester<\/strong> courses are offered each Fall and Spring semesters in <br>8- or 7-week or less.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Early (beginning of the semester) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Midterm (middle of the semester).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UWinteriM is 2 weeks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summer semester is 8 weeks. Some courses are 8 weeks or less.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"uwm-c-list--sequence\">\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Discover Courses<\/h2>\n<p>Try something new or improve your skills. FitWell Courses change based on the seasons and instructor availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/publichealth\/sport-recreation-courses\/\">Full Course Descriptions<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Get the Course Numbers<\/h2>\n<p>Check the schedule for the most up-to-date information in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.uwm.edu\/course-search\/?srcdb=999999&amp;subject=SPT&amp;REC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Schedule of Classes<\/a>. Search &#8220;FITWELL\u201d under Subject. Find a course, day\/time that is best for your schedule.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Register for a FITWELL Course<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/paws\">Register in PAWS<\/a> <\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select \u201cFITWELL\u201d under Subject.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the Course Title under the Keyword.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Watch this video for help with how to &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A5C4zoxVZuc\">Add a Class in PAWS<\/a>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/registrar\/stellic\/\">Register in STELLIC<\/a><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select &#8220;&#8221;FITWELL.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the Course Title under the Keyword.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Invite your friends to join you!<\/h2>\n<p>Tell them about the active, creative, strategic, mindful, outdoor, and competitive courses.
