At Zilber College of Public Health, you can start making a meaningful impact well before graduation. Through our Field Experiences, internships, and capstone projects, you\u2019ll have the chance to apply lessons from the classroom to real-world public health problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Kinesiology undergraduates can enhance their learning through hands-on internships, allowing them to directly engage with the community. Nutritional Sciences undergraduates complete a capstone. These opportunities will strengthen your professional skills while also allowing you to contribute to the community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public Health Program Field Experiences<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Field Experiences are an integral component of the Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) and Master of Public Health (MPH) curricula. These experiences allow students to apply classroom knowledge and skills to public health practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students complete a project with a preceptor in a range of public health settings. The video highlights Sela Kreiling\u2019s journey from her Field Experience at the Oak Creek Health Department to being offered full-time summer employment there. Field Experiences provide opportunities for networking and job placement. Preceptors often become references and mentors, opening doors to future career opportunities and further professional development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
