DESCRIPTION:Presented by \nStephen Hargarten\, MD\, MPH\nProfessor of Emergency Medicine\nMedical College of Wisconsin \nThis presentation frames firearm harm\, care\, and prevention through an emergency physician’s lens\, linking clinical care and public health sciences. \nAttendees will increase their knowledge of firearms\, the bullets they carry\, and wound ballistics. \nPublic health strategies to prevent firearm harm will be discussed and a vital back and forth Q&A will be encouraged. Videos of bullets behavior will demonstrate their wounding potential with public health policy implications. \nThe seminar can also be attended virtually on Teams.
