DESCRIPTION:Climate Rx: Advancing Public Health Through Climate Action at the Medical College of Wisconsin \n\nChrista L. Wagner\, PhD\nDirector\, Center for Sustainability\, Health\, and the Environment\nMedical College of Wisconsin\n\nJoin us in a forum to hear the latest in the research and practice of public health to support a just\, equitable\, healthy future for people\, communities\, and the environment in Milwaukee\, the state of Wisconsin\, and beyond. \nThis seminar will explore the emerging field of planetary health and its connection to public health in Milwaukee and beyond. We will examine how clinical care contributes to environmental challenges while identifying opportunities for addressing climate change within the health sector\, and academic medical centers specifically\, using MCW as an example of integrating sustainability across mission areas to improve health for everyone. \nThe seminar can also be attended virtually on Teams.
