Associate professor&nbsp;<strong>Sara Benesh<\/strong>&nbsp;gave her take in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2025\/01\/30\/heres-just-how-partisan-wisconsins-supreme-court-race-has-become\/77909783007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Milwaukee Journal Sentinel<\/em><\/a><em>.&nbsp;<\/em>As the 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court election loomed, she also commented on partisanship and campaign spending in a different&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2025\/01\/08\/wisconsin-supreme-court-race-will-kick-into-high-gear-with-no-primary\/77407962007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Milwaukee Journal Sentinel<\/em><\/a> article.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sara Benesh <\/strong>spoke to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.courthousenews.com\/liberal-judge-defeats-musk-backed-candidate-in-wisconsin-supreme-court-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Courthouse News<\/a>\u00a0about the harms that could follow if state supreme courts are viewed as partisans entities.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kathleen Dolan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Does a background in politics help or hinder a candidate?
