Please click on any of the four offerings below to find out more about that type of training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h3\" id=\"h-civilian-response-to-active-shooter-events-crase-training\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/police\/safety-training-information\/civilian-response-to-active-shooter-events-presentation-crase-training-information\/\">Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Training<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a plan for navigating an active shooter event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h3\" id=\"h-narcan-training\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/police\/safety-training-information\/narcan-training-information\/\">Narcan Training<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and how to properly administer the opioid overdose reversal drug \u201cNarcan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h3\" id=\"h-american-heart-association-aed-cpr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/police\/safety-training-information\/aed-cpr-training-information\/\">American Heart Association AED\/CPR<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>In the case that someone you know or don\u2019t know needs an AED or CPR, we will give you the skills to save a life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading size-p-lg\" id=\"h-stop-the-bleed\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/police\/safety-training-information\/stop-the-bleed\/\">STOP THE BLEED<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn the basics of bleeding control to save a life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h3\" id=\"h-self-defense\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/police\/safety-training-information\/self-defense-training-information\/\">Self Defense<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This course has its foundations in education and awareness.
