Enjoy eating delicious s\u2019mores and relax outside while gazing at summer constellations and the Moon through our telescopes. S\u2019mores kits are free (one per person while supplies last). Head inside to catch a free 15-minute planetarium stargazing show and make a starry mindfulness jar with the Student Health and Wellness Center. Planetarium shows will run every 20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is open to the public. No advance registration is required. Check in at the ticket table any time during the event to reserve your free spot for a planetarium show. We do not accept ticket reservations for free shows in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The planetarium is a theater that projects stars, planets, the Sun, and the Moon on a 30-foot dome. Portions of the show involve complete darkness and may not be suitable for children under 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doors close 5 minutes after the planetarium show starts. The entrance is at the corner of Cramer and Hartford. Please be sure to avoid the spots that are for permit holders (they say &#8220;This spot is reserved for staff\/faculty&#8221;). Pricing varies from $1-2\/hour depending on the time and day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may be able to find&nbsp;street&nbsp;parking&nbsp;(both metered and free) but be sure to read the&nbsp;street&nbsp;signs for restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Payment for parking spots can be done by using the&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/transportation\/parkmobile\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parkmobile smartphone app<\/a>&nbsp;or pay stations located on the perimeter of the lot. Purchase a parking ticket from one of the booths by entering your license plate number and the amount of time you will be parked.
