Don’t<\/span> miss your chance to view the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024\u2014 it will be the last one visible in the U.S. until 2044! <\/span><\/span>The Sun will reach 90% totality in Milwaukee on April 8<\/span>.<\/span> On that day,<\/span> the Moon<\/span> will <\/span>block<\/span> 90%<\/span> of<\/span> the Sun<\/span> as <\/span>the Moon passes<\/span> between the Sun and the Earth<\/span> and the three align perfectly<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Stop by the 51ÁÔÆæ Union Ballroom<\/a> and Spaights Plaza<\/a> to enjoy free food, music, crafts, and of course viewing the solar eclipse (MAP<\/a>). <\/span>Students, employees, and members of the public are invited to stop by between classes or meetings, or make a whole day out of it. This is a rain or shine event!<\/span> Peak visibility is at approximately 2:00 pm on April 8, 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
