What is Tech Timeout?
Tech Timeout refers to a timeframe when University IT Services will not make changes that affect campus-wide services, functions or activities. This includes major IT project changes, retiring or implementing a new IT platform, planning outages, etc.

We do this at the beginning and end of each semester to ensure a stable IT environment during peak periods of 51ÁÔÆæ educational and business activities. Exceptions would only apply if the stability or security of IT services needs to be maintained. Those exceptions would be communicated to the 51ÁÔÆæ community.
