About Office of Research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Office of Research facilitates the creation of new knowledge and the development of innovative solutions by supporting research across the sciences, arts, and humanities that enhances the mission of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and spurs economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsible for the administration of research activity, oversight of research policy, and compliance with federal and state mandates at 51ÁÔÆæ, the Office of Research provides pre- and post-award administrative support for sponsored projects, encourages the transfer of technology to the marketplace, and develops sound policy that protects investigators, subjects, and the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
