Services include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identifying relevant sponsors and finding and interpreting funding opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing proposal drafts for competitiveness and alignment with the call for proposals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing basic or comprehensive technical editing of proposal sections for grammar, clarity, conciseness, page format and layout, and to meet page or character limits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing proposal templates and guidance materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing guidance on developing effective Broader Impact Statements; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Plans; and Safe Work Environment Plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advising on revising and resubmitting unfunded proposals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying and facilitating collaborative research teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing grant development workshops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-p-card--gold uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">\n<div class=\"uwm-c-icon\"><i class=\"fa-solid fa-money-bill-transfer fa-fw\"><\/i><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center size-h4 uwm-u-mt-20 uwm-c-link--dark\" id=\"h-internal-grant-programs\"><a href=\".\/internal-grant-programs\">Internal Grant Programs<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Managed through ORDS, the Office of Research offers grant programs to support research and creative activities and the dissemination of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information about each program is provided on the <a href=\".\/internal-grant-programs\">Internal Grant Programs page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-p-card--gold uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">\n<div class=\"uwm-c-icon\"><i class=\"fa-solid fa-timeline fa-fw\"><\/i><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center size-h4 uwm-u-mt-20\" id=\"h-limited-submission-grant-programs\">Limited-Submission<br> Grant Programs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponsored grant programs that limit the number of number of letters of intent, pre-proposals, and\/or proposals from an institution are called \u201climited-submission\u201d programs. Institutions that exceed the number of allowed submissions may have their applications returned without review or may be rendered ineligible to apply to future funding cycles. Internal processes have been developed to ensure that 51ÁÔÆæ does not submit more applications than the sponsor allows. ORDS coordinates an internal competition for selecting the most competitive applicants who may apply to this type of opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Limited-submission opportunities are announced via the 51ÁÔÆæ Research Updates. Interested applicants must submit a Notice of Intent to Apply (NOI) to ORDS as specified in the announcement.
