{"id":24688,"date":"2025-04-09T13:24:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T18:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/nursing\/?p=24688"},"modified":"2025-04-09T13:24:03","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T18:24:03","slug":"nursing-graduate-program-rankings-move-up-stay-in-top-100-in-u-s-news-graduate-school-rankings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/nursing\/nursing-graduate-program-rankings-move-up-stay-in-top-100-in-u-s-news-graduate-school-rankings\/","title":{"rendered":"Nursing graduate program rankings move up, stay in top 100 in U.S. News graduate school rankings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The School of Nursing is proud again to see two of our nursing graduate programs ranked in the top 100 programs for 2025 in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-nursing-schools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For 2025, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-nursing-schools\/nur-rankings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master of Nursing program is ranked<\/a> at No. 83 out of 166 universities ranked, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/best-graduate-schools\/top-nursing-schools\/dnp-rankings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Doctor of Nursing Practice program ranked<\/a> at No. 85 out of 153 universities. These rankings look at universities across the country, but when you break it down to just within the state of Wisconsin, our Master of Nursing program is ranked again as the top program at a public university in Wisconsin, and our Doctor of Nursing Practice program is ranked second again for public universities in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinion about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school\u2019s faculty, research and students, and students\u2019 post-graduate outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"has-alpha-channel-opacity uwm-c-hr--center-short\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Interested in learning more about these programs?
