UW-Milwaukee School of Nursing proudly offers faculty and nursing community research support through the Harriet H. Werley Center for Nursing Research and Evaluation (WCNRE)<\/strong>. The WCNRE was established in 1977 under a federal Faculty Research Development Grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WCNRE Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Support and facilitate applications for funding of research projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Promote research collaboration within the Schools of Nursing, Biomedical Sciences & Health Care Administration, Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology, the University, and the public and private sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Support and facilitate the continuing development of faculty expertise and student research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Support ongoing evaluation activities within the School of Nursing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    WCNRE staff activities are focused on faculty research needs, in particular, faculty applications for research funding. Some services are available to 51ÁÔÆæ nursing graduate students. Fee-based assistance is available to employees of community and professional agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
