Addressing global health challenges requires a variety of perspectives and backgrounds. Students and practitioners can contribute to global health from any disciplinary background, not only the health professions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-p-card--white uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">\n<div class=\"uwm-c-icon uwm-c-icon--gold-border uwm-c-icon--lg\"><i class=\"fa-solid fa-balance-scale fa-fw\"><\/i><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center uwm-u-mt-20\" id=\"h-equity-driven\">Equity-driven<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The opportunities to pursue health and wellness are not evenly distributed around the world or among populations. An equity approach recognizes that health is a human right and that many inequalities are preventable and unjust. We have an ethical and moral responsibility to take action.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-p-card--white uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">\n<div class=\"uwm-c-icon uwm-c-icon--gold-border uwm-c-icon--lg\"><i class=\"fa-solid fa-users fa-fw\"><\/i><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center uwm-u-mt-20\" id=\"h-collaborative\">Collaborative<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Today\u2019s global health challenges span political borders and need to be engaged through whole-system global collaboration.
