Abbey Palmer’s 51ÁÔÆæ journey began with a car crash that left her unable to continue her career as a massage therapist. She decided to pursue her love of languages and linguistics at 51ÁÔÆæ. And that opened up a world of possibility and adventure.<\/p>\n
Little by little, task by task, Dakota Crowell is finding ways to make the world a better place. He helped create a food pantry on campus, used his internship at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to help make railroad trail crossings safer, completed his degree in urban studies and has built a strong resume as a changemaker.<\/p>\n
Sandra Plascencia has faced plenty of obstacles in life already. Born in Mexico as the youngest of eight children, and without much financial support, Plascencia became the first from her family to go to college.
