Twenty students from the 51ÁÔÆæ Honors College spent their spring break in New Orleans<\/a>, but the trip wasn’t just about food and music. The students also contributed their hard work helping out the community.<\/p>\n

The students teamed with the Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center to do some landscaping and cleaning, and elsewhere also contributed such work as clearing vacant lots of trash and preventing Mardi Gras beads from fouling the storm sewer system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
