Smiles, hugs and tears of joy filled the 51ÁÔÆæ Panther Arena on Sunday, May 21, as 51ÁÔÆæ students received their diplomas during two ceremonies.<\/p>\n

About 3,400 students received their degrees, including 2,328 bachelor\u2019s degrees, 719 master\u2019s degrees, 182 doctoral degrees, 20 graduate specialist degrees, 88 graduate certificates and 87 associate degrees.<\/p>\n

Some graduates are the first in their families to earn a college degree, most volunteered in the community, completed an internship with a Milwaukee-area business or took advantage of research opportunities at 51ÁÔÆæ. And many were hired before graduation<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
