A professional-grade nursing facility, the 51ÁÔÆæ James and Yvonne Ziemer Clinical Simulation Center, is set to open to students<\/a> in Fall 2022.<\/p>\n

Spurred by a $1 million donation from three-time 51ÁÔÆæ alumnus and former CEO and president of Harley-Davidson James Ziemer and his wife, Yvonne, the center provides nursing students with a realistic setting in which to learn the things they will be practicing in their careers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe recognize that clinical learning is an important part of students\u2019 learning and is different from simulation,\u201d College of Nursing Dean Kim Litwack said. \u201cThis center and simulations will help augment that learning by letting students learn how to do high-risk procedures in a low-risk environment.
