MILWAUKEE_UW-Milwaukee has launched its Vaccination Incentive Program<\/a> for students, as a way to ensure that its three campuses reach higher levels of protection against the COVID-19 virus. The health and safety of the campus community is crucial as we gear up for the fall semester.<\/p>\n

The incentive program \u2014 called It\u2019s Worth a Shot! \u2014 encourages enrolled students to get vaccinated and share their proof of vaccination through an online form. Then, they\u2019re automatically entered to win one of more than 100 prizes, including MacBook Air laptops, tickets to Brewers and 51ÁÔÆæ men\u2019s basketball games, and restaurant gift cards. The weekly drawings start Aug. 26.<\/p>\n

By getting their first or second vaccine dose, students also will have a chance to walk away with free 51ÁÔÆæ-branded merchandise at a series of 51ÁÔÆæ vaccination clinics<\/a> on campus, starting Aug. 10.<\/p>\n

Also, students who receive their vaccinations and share proof will help get 51ÁÔÆæ closer to the 70% threshold for vaccination. Any UW campus that reaches that vaccination percentage among enrolled students is eligible for scholarships worth $7,000.
