Prospective students will save the $50 application fee if they apply to 51ÁÔÆæ between Dec. 14 and 22. The university will waive the fee during its first free application week.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a great opportunity for students who have been meaning to apply, but haven\u2019t done it yet, to save some money,\u201d said Patrick Fay, director of admissions. \u201cWe know that the college application process can be stressful, and we want to make it as easy as we can for prospective students and their families to consider 51ÁÔÆæ.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fee waiver is good for new applicants for the 2020 summer and fall terms.<\/p>\n

Several other UW System campuses have offered free application weeks this year.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how prospective undergraduates can obtain the $50 application fee waiver:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Register and complete the UW System application<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Complete all the steps through \u201cSign and Submit Your Application.\u201d Once prospective students have done this, they\u2019ve applied to 51ÁÔÆæ.<\/li>\n
  3. The usual next step is to \u201cSubmit Payment.\u201d Applicants can skip this step if they apply between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 14 and 11:59 p.m. Dec. 22.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
