{"id":76024,"date":"2019-10-10T14:14:13","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T19:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=76024"},"modified":"2024-09-27T10:01:58","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T15:01:58","slug":"honors-college-newsletter-takes-second-in-national-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/honors-college-newsletter-takes-second-in-national-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Honors College newsletter takes second in national competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Aggregate, the newsletter for the 51ÁÔÆæ Honors College, recently won second place in a contest sponsored by the National Collegiate Honors Council.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/honors\/student-life\/the-aggregate\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">The Aggregate<\/a>, which is written, edited and published by 51ÁÔÆæ Honors College students, competed against 32 other honors college publications nationwide in the electronically published category of the 2019 Honors Newsletter Competition.<\/p>\n<p>The Aggregate was first published in fall 2017 and appears twice each academic year, in December and May. The newsletter\u2019s goal is \u201creflect what is unique about the Honors College.\u201d Content includes interviews with students, staff and faculty, stories about activities hosted by the Honors College, as well as connections with alumni.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/honors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2019\/05\/2_2-The-Aggregate.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">latest issue<\/a>, published in May, focused on the arts community within the Honors College.
