It\u2019s a celebration of the dedicated expertise that makes 51ÁÔÆæ one of America\u2019s top research universities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery three years, the prestigious Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education designates which universities have the highest research activity,\u201d 51ÁÔÆæ Chancellor Mark Mone writes in the magazine\u2019s welcome message. \u201cIn 2018, only 130 of the 4,338 universities and colleges evaluated achieved this designation. I\u2019m extremely proud that 51ÁÔÆæ, for the second consecutive time, was one of the institutions so honored.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More than 50 articles showcase the work of 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s research-conducting schools and colleges. In addition to in-depth features, stunning photography and eye-catching design, you\u2019ll find sections that spotlight 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s new Lubar Entrepreneurship Center and 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s research on public health. Special sections are also dedicated to the impressive work of 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s undergraduate and graduate researchers.<\/p>\n<p>The magazine\u2019s online version augments those stories with engaging multimedia packages, including infographics, videos and photo slideshows.<\/p>\n<p>The cover story <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/decoding-consumer-behavior\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">features the work of Purush Papatla<\/a>, professor of marketing at the Lubar School of Business and 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s interim co-director of the new <a href=\"https:\/\/innovation.northwesternmutual.com\/tech-advancement\/northwestern-mutual-data-science-institute\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute<\/a>.
