Established artists receive $20,000 from the Marl L. Nohl Foundation. Emerging artists receive $10,000.<\/p>\n<p>51ÁÔÆæ-affiliated Nohl Fellows are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Established Artist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studioindigenous.com\/\">Chris Cornelius<\/a> (\u201996 BS Architectural Studies), associate professor of architecture, School of Architecture &amp; Urban Planning<\/li>\n<li>Emerging Artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nazlidincel.com\/moving\/\">Nazli Dincel<\/a> (\u201915 MFA Performing Arts; \u201911 BFA Film)<\/li>\n<li>Emerging Artist <a href=\"http:\/\/makealcflammini.blogspot.com\/\">Makeal Flammini<\/a> (\u201913 BFA Art)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>51ÁÔÆæ-affiliated Nohl Fellow finalists are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/user4431044\">Portia Cobb<\/a>, associate professor of film, Peck School of the Arts<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mollyhassler.com\/\">Molly Hassler<\/a> (\u201918 BFA Art: Fibers; \u201918 BA Community Arts)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/justseeds.org\/artist\/peterailand\/\">Pete Railand<\/a>, associate lecturer of art &amp; design, Peck School of the Arts<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nirmalraja.com\/\">Nirmal Raja<\/a> (\u201912 MFA Art; \u201910 MA Art)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Nohl Fellows will stage a group exhibition in late May.<\/p>\n<p>Funded by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation\u2019s Mary L. Nohl Fund and administered by the Bradley Family Foundation, the Mary L. Nohl Fund Fellowships for Individual Artists provides unrestricted funds for artists to create new work or complete work in progress. The program is open to practicing artists residing in the four-county area (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington counties). The Mary L. Nohl Fund also supports a Suitcase Fund for exporting work by local artists beyond the four-county area.<\/p>\n<p>Artist Mary L. Nohl of Fox Point, Wisconsin, died in December 2001 at the age of 87. She left a $9.6 million bequest to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.
