Wisconsin Ave.<\/p>\n<p>The event is the 19<sup>th<\/sup> annual conference of the National Institutes of Health\u2019s Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. 51ÁÔÆæ is a member organization of the Clinical &amp; Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>51ÁÔÆæ researchers who own or who are starting their own companies, or who are interested in finding business partners for collaborative research and development, are invited to attend the conference to learn more about accessing federal resources, developing competitive proposals and securing awards.<\/p>\n<p>Together, the NIH\u2019s small-business Innovation Research and Technology Transfer programs have more than $920 million of annual funding from the Department of Health and Human Services.<\/p>\n<p>Conference highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partnership meetings with over 100 Health and Human Services representatives (NIH, SBA, CDC and more);<\/li>\n<li>Overview of small-business research and technology programs and funding opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Discussion of the small-business Innovation Research and Technology Transfer application, review and award process; and<\/li>\n<li>Q&amp;A with subject-matter experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ctsi.mcw.edu\/event\/nih-sbir-milwaukee-2017\/\">Online registration<\/a> is open now for the conference.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives of America\u2019s largest seed fund will be in Milwaukee Nov. 7-9 as the Clinical &amp; Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin and the National Institutes of Health co-host \u201cIn the Heartland of BioHealth Innovation\u201d at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, 509 W.
