Just weeks before students were set to put on their year-end production, fire ripped through 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s Peck School of the Arts\u2019 scene shop at the Mainstage Theatre on April 8. Weeks of work\u00a0went up in smoke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But students, staff and faculty got to work, buoyed by an\u00a0outpouring of support<\/a>\u00a0from the arts community in Milwaukee and beyond. Shorewood High School offered its scene shop<\/a>. The Milwaukee Repertory Theater offered its Stiemke Studio.<\/p>\n

And on May 3, 51ÁÔÆæ students take the Rep stage to open \u201cArcadia.\u201d The show runs through May 7.<\/p>\n
