If you need a place to get some work done before exams start\u00a0May 12, here\u2019s a look at our favorite study spots:<\/p>\n<h2>Library Grind<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/STUDY.Grind_d.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25944\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/STUDY.Grind_d.jpg\" alt=\"STUDY. Whether you\u2019re working alone or with a group, it\u00a0offers a wide array\u00a0of seating and tables. You don\u2019t have to buy a beverage, but for coffee lovers, it\u2019s perfect for sipping a cup of joe and tackling a term paper. Studying late? Chancellor Mark Mone will be here handing out snacks Thursday, May 12, from 10 p.m. to midnight.<\/p>\n<p>The Library Grind will have special\u00a0hours during finals week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday, May 9, through Friday, May 13: 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, May 14: noon-7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Sunday, May 15: 1-7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Monday, May 16, through Wednesday, May 18: 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Thursday, May 19, its last day open in the spring semester:\u00a07:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Third floor of the Golda Meir Library<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/GoldaMeir_d.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25951\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/GoldaMeir_d.jpg\" alt=\"STUDY.2.All sciences graduate student David Gallegos3rd Floor Li\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/GoldaMeir_d.jpg 750w, https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/GoldaMeir_d-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Students who study best in silence can look to the third floor of the Golda Meir Library. You may prefer to sit at a table near the stairs, or you may venture into the long rows of bookcases \u2013 which seem to stretch forever \u2013 to find quiet spots. The Fireside Lounge allows you to be comfy and cozy while still being productive with your studies. Comfortable lounging chairs sit beside large windows overlooking Kenwood Boulevard.
