(<em>51ÁÔÆæ Photo\/Derek Rickert<\/em>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe were just chilling in the Union and we saw all this commotion,\u201d said junior Samantha Ostrowski, who was joined by her sister Nicole Ostrowski, a sophomore, in the crowd of students gathered in the plaza. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of people, and I got a free bobble head.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pitcher Jeremy Jeffress, second baseman Scooter Gennett and outfielder Logan Schafer handed out brats and hotdogs to hundreds of students as the Famous Racing Sausages entertained the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s pretty cool,\u201d said freshman Austin Moore, who saw the event on 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s Snapchat account and rushed over. \u201cNo other school does it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event was one of three \u201cpop-up\u201d tailgates planned by the Brewers and came two days before the annual 51ÁÔÆæ Night at Miller Park. Brewers spokesman Tyler Barnes said it just made sense to do one of the tailgates at the university.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have a solid population of hungry students, and the Brewers have enjoyed a terrific long-term partnership with the school,\u201d Barnes said.<\/p>\n<p>51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s partnership with the Brewers includes an annual game played at Miller Park by Panther Athletics against another college-level team. This year, for the first time, the Panthers also played the Brewers during spring training at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix, Arizona.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_20346\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20346\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2015\/09\/Brewers-3-t18qbz.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20346 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2015\/09\/Brewers-3-t18qbz-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-20346\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Brewers also brought their Famous Racing Sausages. They are the Lubar School of Business, College of Engineering and Applied Science, Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, and College of
