The Student Health and Wellness Center (SHAW) is offering free wellness appointments focused on both health screenings and preventive care, designed to help you stay on top of your health and well-being.<\/p>\n<h3>What is a wellness visit?<\/h3>\n<p>Wellness visits are screening appointments with SHAW providers. A wellness visit is an easy way to check in on your health, identify potential concerns early, ask questions and get guidance from a licensed provider. If follow-up care is needed, SHAW will walk you through the next steps.<\/p>\n<h3>Why sign up?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Free screening visit with a certified medical professional at an accredited clinic.<\/li>\n<li>Easy scheduling \u2014 book an appointment online through the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.medicatconnect.com\/\">MEDICAT patient portal<\/a> or by calling SHAW at 414-229-7429 to find an appointment time that fits your schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Early detection through routine health screenings.<\/li>\n<li>Guidance on maintaining your health with preventive care support.<\/li>\n<li>$20 PantherShop gift card for the first 100 students who sign up and attend!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to schedule:<\/h3>\n<p>Students can find available appointment openings online through their <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.medicatconnect.com\/\">MEDICAT patient portal<\/a>, or by calling SHAW at 414-229-7429 to schedule a time that works best for them.<\/p>\n<p>Wellness visits are free of charge, but additional costs may apply if follow-up care or additional services are needed.
