{"id":152782,"date":"2026-01-27T09:21:44","date_gmt":"2026-01-27T15:21:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=152782"},"modified":"2026-02-02T15:27:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T21:27:11","slug":"uwm-online-bachelors-program-ranks-among-nations-best","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/uwm-online-bachelors-program-ranks-among-nations-best\/","title":{"rendered":"51ÁÔÆæ online bachelor\u2019s program ranks among nation\u2019s best"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">UW-Milwaukee leaped eight spots in the latest rankings of online bachelor\u2019s program by U.S. News &amp; World Report.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/online\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Online<\/a> landed at No. 24 among more than 350 colleges and universities evaluated nationwide in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/education\/online-education\/rankings\">2026 U.S. News Best Online Programs<\/a>. 51ÁÔÆæ is the highest ranked online program in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/education\/online-education\/university-of-wisconsin-milwaukee-3896\/bachelors\">university also ranked highly<\/a> in three subcategories of online programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No. 32 for its bachelor\u2019s in business program.<\/li>\n<li>No. 33 for its bachelor\u2019s in psychology program.<\/li>\n<li>No. 17 in online bachelor&#8217;s programs for veterans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThis year\u2019s rise in the U.S. News rankings reflects the intentional quality of 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s online academic programs and a sustained focus on student success,\u201d said Amy Mangrich, interim executive director of 51ÁÔÆæ Online. \u201cRecognition of strong student performance outcomes, innovative teaching and faculty excellence underscores the university\u2019s commitment to preparing online learners for long-term professional success and places 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s online programs among the nation\u2019s best.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now in its 14th year, the U.S. News Best Online Programs evaluates more than 1,800 online programs using metrics specific to online learning.
