Hear more about how to support neurodiverse students and stop by the wellness fair for chair massages, pet therapy and employee benefits information.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The symposium will feature three workshops led by Emily Raclaw, director of Marquette University\u2019s On Your Marq Center, for faculty, staff and students. All workshops are in the Fireside Lounge in the Student Union.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>10-11 a.m.:<\/strong>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cBeyond the Label: How to Support Neurodiverse Learners in the Classroom,\u201d a workshop for faculty, instructional staff and Student A<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ffairs personnel to create inclusive teaching environments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>11:15 a.m.-noon:<\/strong>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cNeurodiversity 101: Understanding Minds that Work Differently, a Guide to Empathy, Inclusion and Allyship,\u201d a workshop for students and general audiences interested in learning more about the neurodiverse student population.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>12:15-1 p.m.:<\/strong>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cClinical Clarity: Supporting Neurodiverse Minds in Practice,\u201d a workshop for clinicians, disability coordinators, academic counselors and case managers who work with neurodiverse students. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A Wellness Fair<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Wisconsin Room in the Student Union will feature activities and information to improve your health and wellness, including chair massages, pet therapy, a flu clinic, giant Jenga, meditation sessions and more. Employees also will find extensive information on benefits, as part of the upcoming open enrollment period.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The symposium and wellness fair is sponsored by th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e 51ÁÔÆæ Division of Student Affairs, Department of Human Resources, Student Health and Wellness Center, College of Health Professionals, Dean of Students Office and Accessibility Resource Center. Special funding was provided by the Academic Staff Group Professional Development Award.<\/span><span
