{"id":147650,"date":"2025-08-12T16:46:19","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T21:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=147650"},"modified":"2025-08-12T16:46:19","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T21:46:19","slug":"mcts-bus-routes-serving-campus-to-change-starting-aug-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/mcts-bus-routes-serving-campus-to-change-starting-aug-24\/","title":{"rendered":"MCTS bus routes serving campus to change starting Aug. 24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting Sunday, Aug. 24, Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) will be making changes to several routes, affecting some routes servicing 51ÁÔÆæ.<\/p>\n<p>A major change: Route 49U serving Brown Deer Park &amp; Ride has been eliminated. Instead, Route 68 will provide service to 51ÁÔÆæ from the Park &amp; Ride.<\/p>\n<p>On Aug. 24, every local route that starts or ends on 51ÁÔÆæ&#8217;s campus will do so along Kenwood Boulevard between Maryland Avenue and Downer Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, U-Buses will start or end their trips on Downer Avenue and Hampshire Street, just north of Kenwood Boulevard.
