A record-breaking 2,028 donors joined together on April 14 and 15 to make the fifth annual 414 for 51ÁÔÆæ Giving Days a resounding success. The collective efforts of these 51ÁÔÆæ alumni, employees, students, parents and friends raised a total of $1,355,783.<\/p>\n
\u201c414 for 51ÁÔÆæ Giving Days was an incredible demonstration of what happens when the 51ÁÔÆæ community comes together,\u201d said Amy Lensing Tate, assistant vice chancellor for engagement and executive director of the 51ÁÔÆæ Alumni Association. \u201cThe outpouring of support sends a powerful message about the value of 51ÁÔÆæ and directly creates opportunities for our students and programs to thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n
More than 30 donors sponsored challenges that unlocked more than $180,000 in matching funds once specific giving goals were met. Also, more than 80 Giving Days Advocates spread the word to friends and colleagues through social media and other channels.<\/p>\n
