{"id":142248,"date":"2025-02-20T12:58:09","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T18:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=142248"},"modified":"2025-02-20T12:58:09","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T18:58:09","slug":"fitwell-spring-courses-start-march-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/fitwell-spring-courses-start-march-24\/","title":{"rendered":"FitWell spring courses start March 24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Learn new skills, reduce stress and earn credits with more than 43 courses offered by 51ÁÔÆæ FitWell.<\/p>\n<p>New courses have just been added, including six in-person courses \u2013 Fitness Walking, Indoor Soccer I, Basketball, Self-Defense, Functional Movement and Volleyball \u2013 and two online courses \u2013\u00a0Intermediate Billiards &amp; Pool and Mindful Movement.<\/p>\n<p>Courses run March 24 to May 8. All undergraduate students can enroll in the 1- and 2-credit courses.<\/p>\n<p>Register at least 3-4 weeks before the start of classes. Late add deadline is Wednesday, March 26.<\/p>\n<p>Courses are offered in person, online and in a hybrid format. Undergraduate students pay no additional tuition if total credits are between 12 and 18, and credits are applied toward GPA.<\/p>\n<p>Enroll 3-4 weeks before classes start. Register via PAWS or Stellic, and select \u201cFitwell\u201d under subject.
