{"id":141892,"date":"2025-02-11T10:45:45","date_gmt":"2025-02-11T16:45:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=141892"},"modified":"2025-02-17T15:50:28","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T21:50:28","slug":"several-with-uwm-ties-make-list-of-notable-young-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/several-with-uwm-ties-make-list-of-notable-young-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"Several with 51ÁÔÆæ ties make list of notable young leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Several UW-Milwaukee alumni and one current administrator made this year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/milwaukee\/40-under-40\">Milwaukee Business Journal \u201c40 Under 40\u201d list<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The awards, which will be celebrated at an event March 19, honor young business and community leaders from throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Marc Young, executive director of undergraduate admissions at 51ÁÔÆæ, was named to the list, as were six 51ÁÔÆæ graduates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nick Fallucca (\u201909 BBA Marketing), Palermo Villa<\/li>\n<li>Emily Di Nardo (\u201910 BBA Accounting, Finance, Business), Baker Tilly<\/li>\n<li>Katherine Kawczynski (\u201907 BS Architectural Studies), VJS Construction Services<\/li>\n<li>Kweku TeAngelo Cargile Jr. (\u201915 BS Education), Employment Resources Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Monique Liston (\u201918 PhD Urban Education), UBUNTU Research and Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Lawanda Chambers (\u201915 BA Psychology), LIFE Wellness and Counseling Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">In addition, three people with 51ÁÔÆæ connections who were chosen as past 40 Under 40 awardees are being inducted into the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/milwaukee\/news\/2025\/01\/13\/meet-the-2025-40-under-40-hall-of-fame-inductees.html\">40 Under 40 Hall of Fame<\/a>\u00a0for their continued accomplishments.
