The announcement comes after a site selection panel in July <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/2022-midterm-elections-chicago-presidential-milwaukee-tennessee-9feffeaf86b652d3d960c68171367982\">chose Milwaukee as the likely host city<\/a> for the Republican National Convention.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a051ÁÔÆæ faculty members can assist reporters covering topics related to the outcome.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/political-science\/people\/dolan-kathleen\/\"><strong>Kathleen Dolan<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0can discuss how the announcement might affect high-profile campaigns this fall in Wisconsin for U.S. Senate and governor. She can also talk about the midterm elections overall this fall with control of the Senate and House at stake.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/political-science\/people\/holbrook-thomas\/\"><strong>Thomas Holbrook<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0can answer questions about potential political calculations behind the RNC\u2019s decision and what it might mean for\u00a0both parties.
