Media are invited to attend as 51ÁÔÆæ students, faculty, staff and campus neighbors participate in a cleanup day in the neighborhood surrounding the Milwaukee campus on Wednesday, April 13.<\/p>\n
Cleanup groups will assemble in the 51ÁÔÆæ Student Union, departing at 4 p.m. to pick up trash in surrounding neighborhoods and chalk sidewalks with recycling tips. About 50 people are expected to participate. (In the event of severe weather, the event will be canceled.)<\/p>\n
“We’re excited to get staff and students out in the neighborhood this spring to give back to our community, as it is vital to 51ÁÔÆæ,\u201d said Alyssa Conrardy, outreach program manager for Neighborhood Housing & Relations at 51ÁÔÆæ.<\/p>\n
