Many have expressed concern about the volume of email they receive. With that in mind, all-campus emails \u2014 meaning those sent to all students and\/or all employees \u2014 must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The topic should be of interest to all students and\/or all faculty and staff members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The topic should be something that impacts their success as students or their ability to do their jobs. Legally required messages automatically meet this criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing emails that promote a specific program or event are not appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your message does not meet the criteria, please\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/campus-news-announcements\/\">submit a campus announcement<\/a>\u00a0instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that if your message does not meet the criteria for an all-campus email, MarComm staff may publish and distribute a campus announcement instead. You will be contacted in advance if that happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions?
