Since it was launched in 2019, M\u00b3 College Connections has helped more than 800 Milwaukee Public Schools students who collectively earned nearly 10,500 credits from Milwaukee Area Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee \u2014 all before they graduate high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students have saved more than $3.1 million in college tuition costs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this innovative dual enrollment opportunity, MPS seniors can earn up to 21 college credits during their final year of high school. Students take English and mathematics classes at MATC and educational psychology and ethnic studies courses at 51ÁÔÆæ. Students also have the option of taking nursing or science courses at MATC. They attend courses as a group, learning and getting accustomed to college campuses together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
