The Lubar Entrepreneurship Center\u2019s next Diverse Ideas will feature Lina Sergie Attar, founder of the Karam Foundation<\/a>. This event is cosponsored with the 51ÁÔÆæ Institute of World Affairs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaram House is more than a place; it is a new home for the future of Syria. As an innovative education center and hub for the whole community, Karam House builds hope for young refugees and their families while preserving a shared cultural identity in a new country. Together, students develop the creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills that help them pursue their own paths to leadership with confidence and support\u2026 With two Houses in Istanbul and Reyhanli already open, our hope is to build more Karam Houses and support as many communities as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nDiverse Ideas is a talk series that partners with 51ÁÔÆæ offices to invite global and local entrepreneurs\/community innovators for an intimate chat with 51ÁÔÆæ students, faculty, and staff. By offering these talks, LEC hopes to build a larger and more diverse network of students involved in entrepreneurship, including one that spans across disciplines and majors. Speakers share their stories and give advice in an open-forum conversation with attendees.
