The Lubar Entrepreneurship Center & the Black Student Cultural Center are proud to welcome 51ÁÔÆæ Alumni Lexi Brunson & CopyWrite Magazine for a Diverse Ideas during Black History Month. CopyWrite Magazine is composed of an “unapologetic group of creatives” who are “in business to change the community.” This group of creatives offers space, events, as well as highlight stories and showcase the unrealized artistic potential throughout our community. Hear all about their new location on MLK and how they continue to creatively impact the communities they serve.

Foodie Friday: Colin Flanner’s Panko Crusted Chicken Tenders
Born & raised in the Milwaukee area, Colin moved to the city in 2015. He graduated from 51ÁÔÆæ in 2019 with a BA in Urban Studies, a minor in Spanish and an Urban Planning certificate. With the interdisciplinary nature of his studies, Colin enjoys discovering the connections and relationships associated with our urban areas. Colin has studied food systems, urban development patterns, transportation networks, housing, public open space and much more – he admires the complexity of the environments humans build for themselves, and he aims to analyze the hurdles many cities face in their economic, social, and physical development.

Are you looking for a mentor for your idea? The is here to help! This program features 23 different mentors that collectively cover a wide variety of fields, all of whom are able and willing to aid Innovators around Milwaukee.
How do I get started as an Innovator?
The best way to participate is to contact the 51ÁÔÆæ ENGAGE Mentor Program Manager Jessica Silvaggi or follow the link at the bottom of this article to learn more and fill out a questionnaire to find your perfect mentor matches. You will be paired with a team of mentors that best fits your topic and needs.
