SUMMARY:Wisconsin Big Idea Qualifier: Win up to $1\,500
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce that the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center (LEC) will not only host our annual UW-Milwaukee Wisconsin Big Idea Qualifier (WBIQ)\, but this year we will also be hosting the statewide WiSys Big Idea Tournament. Our very own 51ÁÔÆæ student\, Mitchelle Lyle\, took first-place at both the 51ÁÔÆæ qualifier and the 2023 statewide Tournament with her innovative venture\, International Travel Advisor (ITA). Another UW-Milwaukee student\, Kayla Lokker\, received the People’s Choice Award and $250 for her business\, Easy Wear Jewelry\, at the 2024 Big Idea Tournament. \nThe WiSys Big Idea Tournament is a renowned statewide entrepreneurship competition open to undergraduate and graduate students from University of Wisconsin schools (excluding UW-Madison).
