Members of the community are welcome to use the 51ÁÔÆæ Libraries. Access to resources will not be denied or abridged because of race, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, or any other legally protected characteristic. 51ÁÔÆæ Libraries require valid identification for access to rare materials.&nbsp;Individual service units have established specific policies for the use of their collections and facilities.&nbsp;Please check at a public service counter for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading default\" id=\"h-the-uwm-libraries-staff-is-committed-to\">The 51ÁÔÆæ Libraries staff is committed to:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>providing a radically welcoming environment, both on-site and online, for the purpose of fostering critical thinking, powering the creation of new knowledge, and inspiring our diverse communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a diverse and culturally competent workforce that values mutual respect  and safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>creating a sense of belonging for all people, including those who have been historically underrepresented at 51ÁÔÆæ<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>assuring our values are reflected in our work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading default\" id=\"h-all-users-of-the-uwm-libraries-are-expected-to\">All users of the 51ÁÔÆæ Libraries are expected to:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>abide by the expectations set out in the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/libraries\/about\/uwm-libraries-conduct-policy\/\">Conduct Policy<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>comply with staff enforcement of all library policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contribute to creating a welcoming and academic environment for all users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>respect the needs of other users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All 51ÁÔÆæ students, staff, faculty, and researchers have borrowing privileges for resources held by the 51ÁÔÆæ Libraries with campus ID.
