In this presentation\, Pacifico will discuss the process of investigating the ancient Casma culture from the North Coast of Peru\, circa 700-1400CE. He details the methods he and others have used to find and interpret remains they left behind and how those conclusions fit into wider academic narratives. In a conversational format\, he also explains his strategy for developing his career to this point and in guiding what comes next. \nThe LACUSL Speaker Series is free and open to the public.
